Turkeys

What fun we had with our turkey hats!   We really enjoyed feasting on Thanksgiving dinner with our big partner friends.  A huge thank you to those who contributed a reusable plate so we could have less waste.  Thanks to the parents who were able to attend and serve us our delicious meals! Hope everyone enjoys this holiday with their friends and family.  I am thankful my days are filled with the smiling faces of these beautiful children!

Wow!  What a wonderful field trip to New Leaf Farm!   We had such a lovely day and kids were grinning ear to ear!  It's beautiful there!  Check out our slideshow!  Thanks again to Ruby and Jill for hosting!

Potato Diggers!

We are fortunate to have beautiful vegetable gardens in our yard here at school!  We harvested potatoes with some help from Jill Kopel and Ms. Murnane!  We brought the potatoes to our school cafeteria to be washed, cooked and enjoyed by all!

Play-dough Fun

One way we play with letters is with play-dough!
Sometimes it's more fun to sculpt and mold letters into shape.  This provides an opportunity for hands-on learning fun!

There are many play-dough recipes on the web.  Have fun at home creating letters and number with play-dough!

Mrs. Underwood goes to Kindergarten

Hi Everyone!  Thanks for visiting our Kindergarten Blog!  I hope to update regularly, so we all know what's going on in Kindergarten!

To the right is a photo of Mrs. Underwood on her first day of Kindergarten.  I hope to get one of Mrs. Welch too!
